To enter the Budapest Parliament, you need to buy tickets. We recommend to do this on the internet in order to avoid unpleasant surprises such as a sell-out. It is only possible to visit the Parliament with an internal guide. Tours in English usually start at 9am, 9.30am, 10.00am, 12.00 am, 12.30am, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm. But schedules can change depending on the season.
The duration of the guided tour is about 50 minutes. The visitors’ entrance is located on the north side of the building.

Non-EU adults: 6,400 HUF

Be there at least 15 minutes before the start of your tour
Before entering the building there is a security check with metal-detector
Apart from guide dogs, no other animals are permitted
It is strictly forbidden to take pictures to the Crown of St. Stephen but during the rest of the tour you can take pictures
Due to parliamentary or state events, visits may be cancelled

PS: You can also buy your ticket directly at Parliament. However, it is only possible to buy on site the tickets for the current day’s visit. If you buy the tickets on the spot be aware that it is very likely that, especially for morning tours, they will already be sold out.
